    Dana 35 problem

I bought a complete Dana 35 from a 1994 Ranger. I pulled the pig and axles, had the 4:88 gears installed then put them in my Ranger using my old beams and disc brakes. This problem only exist on the passenger side.

    Dana 35 problem

I have a 97 Ranger 4X4. I pulled the Dana 28, and replaced it with a Dana 35. The Dana 35 has new 4:88 gears, bearings and seals. I'm using the Dana 35 axles that were with the differential. When I was assembling the drivers side hub I found I could not install the spacer and "C" clip on the...

Detroit Truetrac, 4:88 gears, 8.8 install question

I'm having issues with my new Detroit Truetrac and 4:88 gears. After the axles are installed and the "C" clips are in place an axle spacer is inserted between the axles. A retaining cylinder is then installed and held in place with a snap ring. The problem is with the 4:88 gears I don't...

The bumper I made from junk

No. I was so foucsed on building I did not take any pictures. Basicly I took a bunch of old grill guards, chopped them up and welded one up that fit.

The bumper I made from junk

I raided the junk pile today and built this. I still need to paint it. I made it to fit the conture of the Ranger perfectly. Installed recovery hooks also. Got room for a winch too. Just need to mount the license plate and lights and I'll be good.

I have a 6" Duff lift on my 95 standard cab 4X4 Ranger. Do I need to lengthen the drive shafts? They appear to be ok but I need another opinion.

Building axles for my 95 4X4 Ranger

I have a set of axles in the shop for my Ranger. They are a 8.8 rear and a Dana 35 front, both off a 94 4.0 Ranger. I run 33's now but I want to build the axles so I have the option of going 35's. I'm planning on using 4:88 gears, ABR's, possibly 31 spline rear axles and Warn hubs. I'm...

    TTB question, 97 Ranger

While installing my lift kit I noticed something strange. The two top bolts that secure the radius arm (the ones that also secure the bottom of the coil spring), I found the drivers side had a big washer under the bolt and and the pass side had none. I have another set of axles and they are...

Will Tuff Country lift with 33's work?

I can deal with a little triming. I REALLY want a Skyjacker or Duff kit with the radius arms but it's not in my budget right now. This used kit I'm looking at is only a year old and is complete with shocks and rear springs so it will get me by until I can afford the nicer kits. Like I said...

Will Tuff Country lift with 33's work?

I found a deal on a used Tuff County lift (4") for my 1997 Ranger. I already have new 33's for it and was wondering if this kit would work. Their web site says it's good for only 31's and this site says 32's but I noticed some guys using 33's with this kit. What do you think?

    High idle

I have reset the computer several times. Ya, might be a good time to replace the iac. Ya, it's driving me nuts. This is not a daily driver so I have time to fool with it. Thanks

    High idle

Here's the missing post: Sure enough the Ford guys confirmed it was #3. I did a compression check at home to make sure. Pulled the heads and seen that the exhaust valve was bad. I took the heads to the machine shop last week, their putting in all new exhaust seats and guides and resurfacing...
