I'm out of practice and can't find my book :) My 94 Explorer is reading 24psi on low side and 345psi on the high side at 108 degrees ambient and 75 degrees coming out of the vent. Is 345 a little high or am I just a little low on 134a?

It seems a high pressure relief "pop-it" valve actuated from the connector block on the back of the compressor. This is a 1994 Explorer with R-134. Can this valve be reset or will I need to replace the hose?

Amazingly enough, I fixed the problem. The wires from the low pressure switch somehow jammed up against the power steering pump causing an intermittant short. A little electrical tape on the wires and the pump for good measure and she seems to be running great.
