    First time waxer with orbiter

While a good deal of this is accurate information ... you can often times achieve achieve a swirl free finish in ONE step ... just depends on the depth to which your defects are and the technique you are using. Meguiars has a whole slew of diminishing abrasive compounds that make it possible...

    First time waxer with orbiter

If you truly want to polish and remove swirls from any automotive finish you need the right combo of abrasive and tool. As was previously stated the orbital will do nothing to improve swirling and in fact could very well make it worse Restoring a paint surface is somewhat of an art form ...

    First time waxer with orbiter

The true downfall of such machines is that there are so many variables that will actually make your paint finish WORSE than it was before you started!! It make take a few washing to see it though. If your surface is not contaminant free then the orbital will merely use those contaminants as...

    Overheating at idle

Did you have these issues prior to making your repairs? What happens if you turn the heat on? Does the temp drop? If so you probably have air in the system and need to "burp" it out How long into or idle or slow speed before your temp starts to rise? Could very well be your fan clutch...

    Overheating at idle

    Overheating at idle

Ok ... sooo Fan clutch did not solve all issues After a 30 min drive it was fine ... until it sat at idle for about 15 min then bammm the temp climbed almost to 3/4 of the way ... I love how the engineers at ford designed a system so that as it gets hotter they rev the engine higher to spin...

    Overheating at idle

As luck would have it I grabbed a severe duty one .... I wanted to see if I could grab the one off my 5.0 mounty but that bolt wasn't moving and I didn't have time to mess with it Preliminary results are in ... I can manipulate the fan clutch to engage and dissengage ... its been running...

    Overheating at idle

Ok so after some tinkering and testing over the past 2 days I think the final piece to my puzzle is going to be the fan cluth and not the radiator based on the following When the engine is hot or cold the resistance on the fan when spinning by hand does not change After doing the whole...
