so they traced it down to crankshaft position sensor? where are those located?

Yea, I have an aftermarket radio, but... I had it for months and had no problem with it, and I also used a adapter so that cant be the problem.

I dont know why it does this, but when I try to start the truck over and over for a while it locks the doors and unlocks the doors.

Ok, I checked the cable and it is not stretched looks good. Now it still doesnt want to start when in Neutral. It still takes at least 8 times to start it before it turnover. Where should I start before i start pulling things off?

Ok thanks for the info. How would I be able to tell if thats the problem? I mean if it looks stretched could i get that part from the auto parts store to get it replaced.

It will start in park eventually after 5-8 times, but when I put it in Neutral it starts up with no problem. Where is the range sensor located?

Now I figured out that is I put the key to the ON position and put the truck in Neutral it will start eveytime.

Sometimes when I start my X it wont start on the first try. Other times it takes more than 3 times for it to start. Usually it will start if I keep trying over and over. Battery connection is tight, starter solenoid has been replaced 5 months ago, theres a little battery corrosion but I cleaned...

I have a 1997 ford explorer XLT, I would love to have keyless entry but I cant figure out which transmitter I actually need. I've been looking on ebay and it sayd it will work ford 97 explorers etc, but there are other ones as well that look different. I guess my question is will all of them...

would that also cause a slight hum noise to the front end?

When im just sitting there and I cut the wheel, I hear a creeking noise coming from the front like something with the suspension. what do you guys think it is and how would i diagnose a problem like this?

I have a 97 ex it's green. I have a little rust problem I need to take care of before it gets worse. Anyhow.. where can I get a can of spray paint that will match the factory paint color? Or am I out of luck? Thanks

I just bought some of that stuff and it turned out great.

I also did my window tint myself, it actually turned out really good. I bought the precut tint off ebay, and i have been rocking it for 2 years now. Its a bad pic but here is what it looks like 5% in the back.
