YOU ABSOLUTELY JINXED ME. I started it up and drove it and my CEL came on. P0401. I am gonna unstick it with my vacuum pump and see if that works.

Ok...went out and started to try and fix this damn CEL p0401.
I disconnect and inspected the hoses from the egr solenoid and started the car. The bottom shorter connection was making a hissing noise. When I put my finger over it, > felt a slight vacuum.

I put a new thermostat in my Explorer. 190 degree or what ever the factory calls for.
The temp wanders now where as my other Explorer is rock steady and never moves.....same as my wife's car, rock steady.
I have Burped the coolant system...it never overheats.
Anyone one else have this...
