I tried both and I would never recommend TransGo Kit, because it wont address the issue of poor lubrication through the cooler and parts, especially the O.D. Planetary.
TransGo Kit is a valve body correction kit and you can install it while the transmission within the vehicle
you should not be scared of the springs at all and T2R unit is maintenance free
The 2TR unit for ford 8.8 diff. is OEM on Mustang FR500S race car
so you should rest assure it is street and high speed friendly
Actually it is the other way
Helical LSD or Torque Sensing carriers send the power to the side with more traction using a torque multiplier and differentiater
when a wheel is air born the traction on that wheel is zero and anything multiplied by zero equals zero
so you need a minimum...
Even without AdvanceTrac you should not be scared of using Helical LSD off-road
If you have axle twister (two wheels in the air) you only need to apply a light touch on the brake (a foot on the gas and the other one on the brake)
This will start torque biasing within Helical LDS and they...
I know that you found them :)
but here they are for every one else
Nope, at least not directly
The bolts pattern are deferent
Here you can see the gaskets
2v exhaust manifolds gaskets
3v exhaust manifolds gaskets
loganmotorsports.com used to make adapter plate to install 2v exhaust manifolds into 3v. I'm not sure if they still do it.
They are totally deferent
The deference is in:
Heads and valve train (along with intake & exhaust ports)
Timing chine cover
Engine mounts is deferent between 3v and 2v blocks
Timing chine cover bolts configuration on the blocks
Timing chines, gears and guides...

I recommend using Ford racing clutch pack with carbon fiber clutch pack disks: M-4700-C
The MagnaFlow 46004 cats are universal.
universal cats causes trouble if they were designed for smaller engine displacement
our V6 4.0 has 2 cats, so each one is spouse to be able to handle 2.0 or larger engine...
No, I don't change it at all. I just install a new one right before installing the auxiliry filter and never changed it after that. I just kept changing the auxiliry filter each time I change engine oil and I complete the ATF level with fresh mircon V eahc time.
Although stock fliter does not contribute to oil filtering - because of the ablity of the auxiliry filter to catch smaller particals - but it is still functional as a sucction tube for ATF from the bottom of the oil pan
