    Probably the MAF, unplug it while its running. Your CEL should come on and the ECU will run it on defaults. Should smooth out the idle from a cold start.     Haha, I found out that it was the 3 week old dried mud that I forgot to wash off. Its pretty much gone now, still a bit of a squeek but nothing. I'll probably replace shocks and all the bushings all around just for the hell of it. Exhaust first though..

    Ive got this problem too. I took it out for a rough ride and now it squeeks bad when going over bumps. New shocks wouldnt hurt.. so I take it what you did didnt work, ParkerRocker?

    All fuses were good. Ran new wires, everything is working now. Not sure what it was exactly, but I'm going to do a good electrical overhaul when I get some money, and after I get the motor tuned up. Thanks for the help. Greg

    Thanks man. It was certainly a learning experience. A painful one at that. I think the worst day was unplugging the oxy sensors above the bellhousing behind the block. That was a tricky one. I just have to flush the cooling system, get a new belt tensioner and change over my good spark plugs...

    Thanks for the help guys. Got the new motor in and bolted up. Just gotta reconnect all the hoses, put on the water pump, alternator and all that other stuff. Gotta swap sensors too. That was a pretty big job that I hope i never gotta do again. :D

    Naw I'm doin it with my friend who is a mechanic. He's got a whole shop to himself so its basically just parts are my main cost. I got about 500 to work with right now. A motor is lookin to be about $350 or 400.

    Thanks guys, But I'm just gunna pick up a wreckers motor. The heads around here are gunna be 375. I might as well just get a motor with half the milage for 400 and swap them. Then I'll rebuild the other one and sell it when I have the money.
