    U joint question

Yeah I’m not the original owner. I was still going in my pants when my car was assembled lmao

    U joint question

So should I trust Amazon when it says that it’s compatible with my car? And should I get two of each then? Two for front and two for rear? Or 5 total if it’s a double cardan?

    U joint question

No I’m just doing the driveshaft. I figured 1310 is the size for spicer brand ujoints, I wasn’t able to find a single moog brand that had that size. They’re all in 2xx and 3xx unless all I’m looking at is axle ujoints lol

    U joint question

Another question, are all 4 or 5 of them different size? Or are they all the same? I’ve been seeing different sizes from 2xx to 3xx on Amazon and they all say they fit. What’s the best way to approach this?

    U joint question

Hi everyone. I have a 97 ford explorer 4wd v6 4.0 OHV. I need to replace all the u joints but I am confused as to how many ujoints I need to order. I tried doing research and some say two some say three. One in the front and two in the back. Is that correct? And what size ujoints do I need to...

Solved Parking lights don’t flash anymore when locking the vehicle with the fob

The thread can be closed. Found the culprit. Turns out aftermarket auto starts have fuses on their wires. I had a completely melted 10 amp fuse that was responsible for the lights.

Solved Parking lights don’t flash anymore when locking the vehicle with the fob

No. It’s not a factory alarm and I don’t have the factory alarm fob. But no it never did that with the current auto start I have

Solved Parking lights don’t flash anymore when locking the vehicle with the fob

I have a 1997 Explorer with Viper Auto start installed on it. The parking lights used to blink every time I locked/unlocked/started the car. For some reason it stopped doing that today. It still locks unlocks and starts the car. Lights just don’t blink anymore. It is inconvenient because now I...

    1997 explorer, overheating issues

Yes I have suspicions that my water pump is taking a crap on me..... The truck has 150k miles on it, and I believe the water pump has never been replaced. I mean the truck was heavily abused before I bought it seems like because all the parts were the original factory ones. So far I have...

    1997 explorer, overheating issues

Yes I made sure the hole was on 12:00 position while installing a new thermostat.

    1997 explorer, overheating issues

Ok I will get a new radiator cap and see what it does... I have two old caps that most likely do not seal properly... If that does not work then hey I guess I'll have to buy a new water pump and give that a shot... Will have to find a garage space to do that in first because it is getting below...

    1997 explorer, overheating issues

Hi folks, just wanted to give the heads up to the ones that are interested... Swapped out the thermostat to 180, jacked up the front and ran the car until it warmed up with heat blowing legs all the way up... The situation has gotten better, but it still goes up sometimes and comes back down...

    1997 explorer, overheating issues

Hi everyone. I have a 97 Explorer xlt, v6 4.0 ohv... The car overheats. New radiator, new fan clutch, new thermostat. I burped the air out of the car (I think). I can see the coolant flowing inside the radiator if i shine a flashlight in there. The car starts, heat is hot, warms up to operating...
