    Ok.. so a dealer or a trans shop should be able to scan it? My explorer has really high mileage should I just replace the trans with a decent used one if possible?

    OD light flashing/also says check trans

    Hello, I have a 2003 explorer 2wd 4.0 that just started having trans issues. The OD light is flashing and the info center says check transmission. Does anyone know what I need to do to fix the problem? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
