    code P1451

    P1451 code, evaporative system, mechanic took off canisters (2 on 97 explorer), both conexion wires were cutted, he reconnected wires, until now, engine light is off. Also, there was a valve, I think, connected to canisters, it was in very bad condition, may need replacing soon.

    Drivers door lock switch won't lock?

    Problem Fixed, I soldered the wires, and everything works now. Problem was close to the door hinges, insise rubber hose that protect wires.

    Got it !!! 2 broken wires inside black rubber hose (close to door hinges), that goes inside by emergency brake, then under carpet to the left of driver seat. I'l post pictures later.

    Well, I went to autozone today, they give the P1451 code, definition: Barometric pressure sensor signal does not agree with Map sensor signal at key on. Probable cause: 1 Failed Baro sensor 2 Poor electrical connection 3 Open or short circuit condition Now I'm lost =( any suggestions...

    Drivers door lock switch won't lock?

    My driver lock switch doesn't work at all, I took it apart, it looks new, clean the connections, still doesn't work. I'll check the wires tomorrow.
