Your trans will over heat if there isn't enough fluid in it. But the message center will tell that if you dont have enough fluid in it.

Usually when a vehicle starts shaking/vibrating at highway speed first thing I go after is the balance of the wheels and tires. I rebuilt my trans in my 02 EB and the only vibration I had was the wheels and tires and rechecked the alignment.

Does the whole truck shake or just in the seat bottom or in the steering wheel. Just curious as to why you would be revving the engine at 3k rpms in park?

I used the one with 2 ends on it not the multiple one. When you push the line over the the tool just pull the line back and it should pop off

Finally got it the old one out. It helps when your not trying to move both the fuel line tool and the the line at the same time. Came off real easy.

Pretty sure that I need to change mine as well and I have the same filter. I just cant get the single side free. As the question stated in the begining. Does anyone know of any special way of seperating the filter from the line.

These issues started 2 Saturday's ago out of the blue. Which is why I'm stumped

It should be a 5r55 w/s. The least expensive fix could be and new solenoid block and pull the valve body down and check all the valves out for a blockage..

I'm having some of the same similar problem with my 02 4.0 4x4 EB. Changed fuel pump only because I noticed the pressure in the line wasn't to great. Changed PCV valve, was oil soaked and not rattling. Change solenoid block for spark, was cracked at both ends. On cold starts it seems to run ok...

I think it just needed some extra time to relearn how it was supposed to work. Or there may have been a blockage in the pressure side of it. Only because I was getting pressure codes.
