One of my sparkplug boot metal boot sleeves has collapsed, please help!

Thanks Corkey! I tried regular pliers, however, I think that needle nose would be most useful. A couple of tugs, and it should pull out. However, a little bit of drilling should help expedite the whole process.

One of my sparkplug boot metal boot sleeves has collapsed, please help!

Thanks! I know 5.0 and a drill. I plan to use an extended colbalt bit, and moderately small one of course. It is my last plug, all of the others are allset. The old ones were either Autolite or Motorcraft platinum. I think that the NGK V Power plugs are much more efficient.

My transfer case 4404 has bearing noise on the front end, please help!!

Wow! Thanks! Yeah I am thinking that the noise is coming from the transfer case shaft connection for the front shaft. I sort tugged on the cup end section on the front of the transfer case front shaft connect, and it has some play in it. It can be slightly pulled forward and slightly pivots back...

How effective is the steering stabilizer shock?

Hello all! I think i may be in need of a new steering stabilizer shock. My frontend does a lot of shimming. The tires are good and properly inflated (31's), and my front end components are good for the most part. I really begins to shimmy at around 65-70 mph. I may need some new shocks too...

What is the round ball hollow object on the front drive transfer case shaft?

Cool! Thanks coonerboy! It was removed because of lots of groaning whining noises. Now I hear very little if any. My rear diff seems to be ok, however, might my transfer case still be making noises despite the shaft disconnect. I am going to change the fluids in there today. Would a bad u-joint...
