I never received my paid goods from an EF member! What should I do?

Well I bought some headlights from an Explorer Forum member on October 24th. I paid them through paypal. They said they shipped the item out 1 week later. So I waited 2 weeks since the package was going from Washington to Michigan. Then I contacted the member and he never gave me a tracking...

    RCD shock and mount numbers.

How do you know how much preload to put on the new spings? Is a spring compression tool necessary? or can I just use the spanner wrench?

New springs for the RCD kit found

I am supposed to get my springs in tomorrow, just wanted to find out how difficult it is to change them out. My coil-overs seem to have alot of corrosion, so I have been spraying them with PB Blaster all weekend.

    RCD shock and mount numbers.

tha704majia: I noticed on summitracing.com that the eibach 800 in/lb springs are $10/ piece cheaper then the 750 in/lb springs. Do you think that the 800's would be too stiff for a V6? Right now my truck is sitting 1/2" lower in the front and I have my 600 in/lb springs cranked half-way. I am...

New springs for the RCD kit found

I noticed on summitracing.com that the 800 in/lb springs are $10/ piece cheaper then the 750 in/lb springs. Do you think that the 800's would be too stiff? I am thinking I can tighten them not as much and achieve decent lift, is this correct?

tha704mafia: I checked out you cardomain. Sweet Ride! Do you happen to know the partnumber for those front Fox shocks? Would those be a direct replacement of the bilstein coilovers that come with the RCD kit? How much suspension lift do you have?

Questions with a RCD Suspension lift???

A lot of people use a bolt through the current sway bar mounts for the lower shock mount. If I was to do it all over, that's probably what I would have done. The body roll is not that bad, but if you are planning on fish-tailing your rear end, be CAREFUL. As far as the angle my mounts are at...

Questions with a RCD Suspension lift???

Well as far as shocks for the rear, my shocks have been blown out in the rear for the past 5,000 miles and it really didnt bother me too much. I ended up buying some Pro Comp ES9000's yesterday. I am hoping to get them on soon, but I need to reweld some lower shock mounts since I did not angle...

Questions with a RCD Suspension lift???

Well by almost I mean it sits maybe 1/4" higher in the back. I am thinking of upgrading to some higher load coil springs in the front. BoominXplorer did this. He has a V8 I believe and he said it gave him an extra 1"-1.5" (I believe). Check out this thread, it may help you out...

Questions with a RCD Suspension lift???

I did the SOA in the back and I ended up using my stock shocks. The ranger ones were way too long. I did not add a leaf spring and my 4 door was sitting almost perfectly level. Hope this helps! I also kicked my rear sway bar to the curb. Probably time to change my rear shocks since I have over...

New springs for the RCD kit found

BoominXplorer, I have the stock coil over spings on mine and they are about 2.5 years old and I have them tighted to the max. When I go off-road and I hit a bump they tend to spring back extremely fast since I have the coil compressed to the max. My question is, do you think these new springs...

Harmonic vibration coming from front end!

Well I promised to update and here it is. I replaced both of my CV half axles, upper and lower ball joints, outer tie-rods, and wheel bearings. Then I got an alignment and after all that, I still get that harmonic vibration. Also, when I am coming to a rolling stop, with the windows rolled down...

    Sub Box Plans

Awesome! Do you happen to know the volume of the box? I might make one of these as my back up sub for when I take my big box out for traveling purposes. Thanks

Harmonic vibration coming from front end!

Well I am pretty sure it is not the rims. It could be the tires since they are M/T's. Do mud terrains get typically louder after only having like 2,000 miles on them? I am going to be replacing the upper balljoints sometime within the next week or so, since they really need replacing. I'll...

Harmonic vibration coming from front end!

Well this problem has been becoming consistently worse. I do have oversize tires and they are m/t's, but it is not the tire pattern. For reference, I just changed both of my lower ball joints and wheel hub bearings($$$). I am getting a vibration most of the time when I am driving that is...

    MPG reading after recalibration

I know how to figure out how much my speedometer is off, I am wondering how the computer calculates the miles per gallon. Will the number I am seeing for mpg currently, increase or decrease once I get it recalibrated?
  22. A

    MPG reading after recalibration

So then my guess is probably correct that the computer is going to read a higher mpg once I am recalibrated?
