Purchased 46.5 Acres Near Kingman, AZ

We use Bluebeam Revu (version 2018) here at work for all the construction plans we deal with. Best way to describe it: it's like Paint but for PDF files. Lots of functions including scaling drawings and making accurate measurements. Since we already have it here at work, I do not know costs...

Ah, ok. It's a 2002 Chevy 2500 HD pickup w/ 8.1L & Allison trans that includes a Whipple Supercharger setup for $3,500. It's listed in Nampa, ID. I saw it and was thinking back to your RV...

I'd let you borrow my trailer, but Central TX isn't really in your travel direction either.

    Bkennedy's SAS and Rebuild Thread

I first saw one listed for sale on eBay years ago (2004 I think) for $1,500 for the full kit. Wife wasn't for it at the time... Great article, though the only issues I ever had with my truck was the broken exhaust manifold bolts. It would pop one of the rears about every 8-10 months. They...

Hope everything works out on that 8.1...I loved the one I had in my old 2001 2500 HD. Beast of a motor for it being gas. I'm actually looking for a Suburban with the 8.1 right now! Did you know, Whipple used to make a supercharger for that motor? :burnout: ;)

"I like 2-speeds" ??? I thought the 300's had a 5-speed! just kidding ;) Cool plate though. I always wanted "O2BNAZ" when I had my '71 240Z, but I was poor and couldn't afford the personalized plates back in those days!

    Brian1 91 XLT 4x4

Good idea on replacing the input shaft. I sheared all the teeth off on the '94 Sport we had. It had about 150k miles on it, but I don't how hard it was driven prior to me owning it. I was towing a trailer at the time when it happened. But those 5-speeds are very easy to work!

Are you still going with a metal building (Barndominium)? (Sorry, I'm being too lazy right now to go back and look...) It might be worth investing in a "few" water storage tanks for rainfall collection off the roof. My parents are doing that now off the roof of my Dad's hangar in Utopia, TX...

Sounds like things are starting to come together for you out there. I agree with your contractor about the solar. If rates are that low, then just spend some money on a good house generator (Costco has some really good ones btw) and sit back with some popcorn and enjoy. You’ll have your choice...

I did the same thing around the windshield on the '93. But I used 3M Windo-Weld sealant. The black stuff. Never leaked again.

What did YOU do to your Explorer today?

My HF flux-core MIG (110V) has been running strong since 1999. But I also didn't get the cheapest one they had either. This is the current equivalent version of mine: 170 Amp-DC, 240 Volt, MIG/Flux Cored Welder Although I paid a bit more for mine back in the day! Only thing I've done to it...

    Rough idle

Classic symptoms of a bad ECT sensor (engine coolant temp). Warm engine shudders and runs rough at startup. Post #11 on this thread explains the why.

    Bumpers

Isn't the entire front end of an Explorer (fenders, hood, grill, headlights, core support, etc.) that same as the Rangers? I haven't had a Ranger in 29 years, so I can't say for sure, but canvasing the junkyards, they all look the same. I do know the dashes are the same, so the overall width...

What did YOU do to your Explorer today?

If anybody wants them, I found another set of these brass rings that I used for my budget boost front lift. These are 3/4" thick with 1.5" ID and 4" OD. They are two half-moons that are held together with socket cap bolts (use a hex wrench to tighten). I gained right at 1-3/4" of lift using...

I saw this listed for sale just North of San Antonio. I have no affiliation with the seller. These don't pop up very often and at this price. If you're looking for a bumper grill... Truck Grillfor sale - auto parts - by owner - vehicle automotive sale
