    rear add a leaf

I found another thread here about that rear Superlift axle kit. I like that idea for the rear axle..

    rear add a leaf

I don't think the springs are wasted yet.. With add a leafs and shackles I might be able to install a 4" lift to the front then? I have seen 5.5 suspension lift kits and they say rear axle kit included but I'm assuming that would require cutting and re-welding correct?

    rear add a leaf

I was considering a 4" suspension lift and I was wondering what your thoughts are on rear add a leafs. Mainly since I don't really have the ability to switch the rear axle to below the leaf springs.

    Did coil spacers and shackles

I took the skirts off and found rust on the passenger side front and rear. I just decided to scuff it and put some undercoating on it. I didn't want to invest the money in repairing it. That sucks somebody keyed your Explorer. That happened to a car I used to own.. They took it down to...

    Did coil spacers and shackles

I can post pics of the guard tonight... It was from JC Whitney. The shackles were from ebay. They were very sturdy and that was what caught my eye. The spring spacers are from an F-150 and you're right it was almost 2" they are pretty tall spacers. They worked really well and there were...

    Coolant temp sensor crapped?

My 94 has never been one to run warm according to the temperature gauge. It stopped working recently and barely worked one time after that, and now does nothing. I was wondering if it would be better to try replacing the temp sensor first? Have any of you guys had the instrument cluster go...

    Did a few appearance mods..

I found the tail guards on ebay.. There is actually a set on there now.. Sorry for the crappy night pic but I didn't get home till late tonight. The top bolt is in the bumper and the bottom uses the bumper mounting bolt. Fit prety easily except I had to get shorter bolts for the top brackets.

Wasn't really sure if this was the right place to post these but I just thought I would share a few pics. Did a brush guard, taillight guards, bug shield and window deflectors.. Seems like it turned out alright.

Have any of you guys installed a one inch coil spring spacer on your 1991-1994 Explorer and still been able to align it?
