    Ok so since I have the ping noise it's most likely my back lash then. I'll try to check it tomorrow. How bad can it wreck things if my backlash is off?

    See I've considered all those things. I just wish I could find someone who has experienced any of this. Anyone have an answer as to why the vibration occurrence changed when I adjusted the pinion angle? Thanks for the replies guys

    Check your fluid. You might be running to low and everything inside doesn't have enough lube to do what it needs to do. Or just try changing your fluid cause it could be garbage. Low fluid can cause whining

    Driveshaft was done by a shop and they checked it twice for me. I'm thinking the preload on my pinion is off. I'm not 100% sure how to check it or fix it

    Is this the stock flange yoke on the rear drive shaft? If it is then I'll just pull the flat rear flange on my other 1354 and put it up front on my TC under my truck now and then run this flange yoke on the front...

    Just by looking at pictures of the 1350 rear yoke it looks like there is more clearance in the "non bearing cap area" for the drive shaft to clear. Do you think something like that should work? Otherwise I can't really think of anything else. Would this yoke work...

    I just have the single u joint. I'm afraid if I went double cardon that my drive shaft would be to LONG. I just had it lengthened to fit under my truck.

    That happened to me on the highway once. I pulled off and took the cables off the battery. Went in and grabbed something to eat and came back out. Hooked the battery back up and drove away. That might not fix yours but its worth a shot.

    03 sport lift

    No you don't have to grind your calipers they just fit. Get some 15x8 rims with a 3.75" or 4" back spacing. Those will stick out enough to look good but they won't stick out to much. This is my explorer with 4" of lift and 32's with 15x8 dick cepek rims. They had a 3 5/8" back spacing.
