    My 2003 is throwing a P0775 code.

Oh man...sorry for your sister-in-law...I don't believe adjusting the bands would be good enough...you can try, but the O/D light will keep on coming... :( My personal conclusion... Second Ford Explorer...second new transmission...last Ford Explorer ever...

    My 2003 is throwing a P0775 code.

The culprit of mine was the complete tranny repair kit and solenoid bank... If you take it to a respectable tranny shop you might have good luck and not have to change the tranny repair kit... Mine had the problem that was not changing in two different gears...

'02 Ford F-150 vs. '03 Ford Explorer XLT

I have to agree that older Explorers somehow have better 4x4 capability...or maybe it is just me...I had a '99 XLT and when I went to the same hill I went two months ago I passed it with not many problems...the '03 on the other hand, gave me a terrible headache and maybe this is why it is on the...

'02 Ford F-150 vs. '03 Ford Explorer XLT

The X is wider than the F-150? hmmmm...I thought the F-150 was way wider since the interior has a lot more space...:( I have not driven one but I've been on some and they are amazingly comfortable...I know that it has good mpg in hwy at low rpm's...stuck in traffic they are gas guzzlers...:(...

'02 Ford F-150 vs. '03 Ford Explorer XLT

Hey guys: I want to ask this stupid question: Which truck is better for off-roading if you don't have a clue how to?:( I am the worst off-roader ever, have gotten stuck a couple of times in my X and am thinking of changing the X for the F150 which is way larger, has a V8 and is much more...

Idle Air Control Valve and Fuel Cap?

Hey guys: I dug in all threads but can't seem to find my answer... Where in the net can I get the cheapest IAC? And also a fuel cap? The local Ford stealership does not have the fuel cap available now , and the IAC is way too expensive here in Dominican Republic... They...

    Our 4x4's stink!

    Our 4x4's stink!

It really is not that stupid...if you see it before you climb it...you're like...how the hell will this truck climb this  Maybe I need an off-road shrink?:D When I get back there I will take pics of the hill before climbing it as well as a video of me getting stuck in it...

    Our 4x4's stink!

I contacted Ben from Road Bully...he says 2" would be fine for that hill...he has 3", but it may be too much for me since my X is my daily driver...and it is 100 miles back and forth...so... Hey, do you have any pictures of your truck? Please share some... I'd like to see how a 2" lift would...

    Our 4x4's stink!

Thanks bro, I sent an e-mail to the guy to check it out....how much do they cost? Maybe with this spacers with like a 2" lift my truck won't get stuck next time...I guess...

    Our 4x4's stink!

I was thinking of getting a truck instead of an suv...problems are: 1- economy right now is not for changing your car 2- less space and less comfy Silly questions: What are bully spacers and wheel spacers? Can they help out?

    Our 4x4's stink!

I agree with you dude...my last time when I went with my 2nd gen, I only got stuck for like 3 minutes...It can't be that bad... My issue has to be getting the right line and not letting the tires loose traction...the driver should be the culprit ;)

Theres lots of Explorers in DR but Monteros are one of the highest sellers here... I am thinking of buying a used '03 Montero DI-D which is a bit bigger and it is turbo diesel...! ABS Light and new brakes

250 miles later it is off... Conclusion: 02-05nExplorers with only one rear abs sensor at the diff (meaning your truck does not have RSC or TCS) that have abs codes c1235, c1236 and c2770...the culprit can be almost 100% sure that it is the sensor NOT the abs module...so try the sensor first...
  35. S

C2770 code with abs light on

Well, have driven 250 miles since saturday and the truck is OK...:D Cheers!!!
  36. S
