I am not looking for better light output. I am looking for something to put HIDs in so it doesn't always look like I have my high beams on, and I don't like the look of halogen bulbs.

What seller did you buy the projectors from? There are two different sellers, and both appear to be a little different as far as wiring and plugs go.

I have bought some things to change the front grille such that I can fit these. Will be getting them in the next month or so as well.

    White face gauge question.

I gotcha. I have installed ones just like that on several cars. Hooking them up was easy enough, and they had a very thin (almost paper thin) switch that adjusted brightness and changed the color. Very easily hidden.

    White face gauge question.

How often do you use/adjust your dimmer switch? I wouldn't think it would be enough to warrant all that extra wiring and such.

    Running on fumes...

http://www.rexresearch.com/ogle/1ogle.htm Thought most of you guys might find this interesting. This was about thirty years ago as well. It's a long article, but a good read.

    Catalytic Converter Replacement

I'm with Josh. I'm quite sure that OBD-I cars only had O2 sensors for the monitoring/adjusting the air/fuel ratio. None to do with the cats.

How Do You Think This Would Look?

Should be. That's how mine were attached.

    throttle body spacer.

Anything that can affect fuel delivery. Pump, filter, injectors, pressure regulator. Could also be a vacuum leak somewhere other than the vacuum lines, such as any gaskets on the intake side.
  19. Mr. Logger

    throttle body spacer.

There are O2 sensors that adjust air/fuel ratio, and some that monitor the cat only. I doubt that your cats leaking is causing your O2 sensors to think you're running lean. This is because the cats are after the O2 sensors that control the air/fuel ratio. Not sure why you would need to...

    HID install

Did you just get a low beam kit? Should be easy enough for you to figure out. Middle one is ground. You can plug it into the other pins to figure out which is high or which is low. If it works with the first pin and you have the beams on low, then you know that is the low side. I installed a low...

How do I remove the whole center console to paint it?

When I took mine out, I just pulled up on it. It was just a bunch of clips, nothing that needs to be unbolted. EDIT: Just saw the link that leads to a link that leads to another link which has the writeup for it. I just painted the cupholder and storage bin. I didn't remove the whole entire...

    Black or white????

Not a big fan of black out light covers. Other than that, the Mounty looks pretty. You have a head on pic w/ the fogs installed? I'm not too fond of the stock Mounty fogs and am looking to do something different.

    Water/fog in my headlights?

You could set them in the oven (w/o the bulb) at a low temperature until it all evaporates. You could put alot of dessicant in the headlights to suck up all the moisture. To prevent it from happening again, inspect headlight housing for cracks in sealant or housing, and make sure there is no way...

    fuel filter wont come off?

It can be used for some a/c lines as well.
  39. Mr. Logger

    fuel filter wont come off?

They look like scissors w/ half a "tube" on each side. When closed around fuel line it forms a complete "tube" and slides into the fitting to release some springs.

Mounting HID ballast on 99 explorer

Mine are hidden below the "headlight access panel". With the exception of one wire to the battery, you wouldn't know where they were. akcrxnj - I get interference as well when they are on. Only noticeable in weak reception areas.
