My wife has had LED fogs since we bought it. I used the VLED XTE-2s. Haven't had a problem in over 2 years and they are on regularly
6 XTE-2 LED FOG LIGHT BULBS HB3 9005 H10 9145 - H10 9145 - Fog Lights - Shop Application
Much prefer the white vs yellow(ish) light of the stock fogs
I think it would be easier to rig a switch to turn the panel on/off
Something like this - my accent lighting is about this color. You can choose to match or not to most any color - back near the panel in a less vulnerable location...
When we bought my wife's 16 sport we got the factory all weathers thrown in. They were horrible. The first good snow had water/slush/snow outside the mat quickly. Upgraded to WeatherTechs and couldn't be happier.

I considered waiting, but found the current UI more attractive. The climate controls move fixed the last versions issues IMHO. Although 3 is faster
My dealer mentioned 3 will also have the GPS maps online vs the current SD card. Long-term this is worth something
In that size I'd go with Goodyear Assurance CS TripleTred All-Season. My wife had two sets of these on her Jeep before she got the '16 Ex Sport and we really liked them. Over 50k miles per set, good in all weather conditions
I don't think they are the upgrade tires. If I recall the Ford upgrade is to a summer only high performance and the Continentals are an all season
Is it me or is the front license plate bracket not the right size? Mine is a finger wide on each side and a finger short on the bottom with the plate mounted. Functionally it works, but its not right.
I went back to the dealer and the platinum they had on the floor was the same -...
We just traded my wife's '03 3.7 jeep liberty ltd for a '16 sport. At just over 100k miles the jeep was starting to suck cash, so off it went.
I've had a number of jeeps and other chryslers in my life and frankly all of them started having issues with transmissions eventually.
Now that right there was funny ... LOL:D
My wife's '16 Sport did/does the same thing. She has a very impatient friend who I thought was going to have a panic attack and/or rip the door handle off trying to get out of the back one night when we went out to dinner. I had forgotten about it...
My 2016 Sport has it in MFT. "Settings" - "Display" - "Auto Dimming"
When "On", I get the same warning/advisement pop up to the left on the gauge cluster at start up. When "Off", I do not.
Just tried it while waiting on my wife to run into Starbucks
The final price included my trade. I don't recall the inv price. I think even with the trade, I could have gotten another $500 off as I had another dealer offering the same vehicle w/the adaptive cruise for a little over $46k all-in, but my wife (its her car) wasn't interested and it left us the...
Well - the wife and I pulled the trigger and we are the proud owners of a new 2016 Explorer Sport
Sticker was $50,500. Their first offer was $46,500 + taxes and fees, then $45,795 + taxes and fees, finally ending at $45,500.30 - all taxes, fees and dealer crap included
