How did we just fix the defroster?
Oh, what a great tip on the vacuum issue. We'll check out the bypass valve tomorrow. Any idea what that arm attached to? I wish I could find an exploded view of that part of the console but I only seem to run across 2002+ diagrams. I'll keep looking. Jennifer- JB.in.KS

Hi Jon! We've both previously checked out that thread and don't think that's the issue. We just replaced the actuator that's behind the glove box, and we're thinking about fixing the rear window that no longer works, as well as worrying about the rear-end shimmy. We're both a little...- JB.in.KS

So there was no airflow through the defroster. Airflow through all the other vents. Heat and A/C okay, too. My husband stuck his hand behind the console (using the opening next to the gas pedal) and found a dangling arm/lever. Blindly, he was able to re-connect the arm back into its...- JB.in.KS
