Stalling intermitantly when warm
hot re-start stumble stall I had the same problem in my 4.0L '94 XLT 4WD. The mechanic said the "code" indicated fuel pump problem so he changed it...but problem recurred. Someone on this site said check the IAC, so they cleaned that out...but problem recurred. Finally mechanic changed the O2...- JICI

Hard Starting
Any ideas on why I have trouble only re-starting my engine when it's raining, engine is hot, engine turned off for a short time, then when re-started it runs real rough and then stalls when given gas or stumbles and stalls without extra gas. Wait two minutes and it starts fine like nothing ever...- JICI

hypertech vs. supertech chips
I used a hypertech chip because I have used them before on 2 other vehicles with good results (92 corvette LT-1 350 and 97 Suburban 454). The combination of the chip +KKM induction kit + flowmaster muffler turned my 94 XLT 4X4 into a completely new machine...much better seat of the pants...- JICI

kkm problems?
KKM I added the KKM induction and Hypertech chip to my 94 XLT 4.0L OHV at the same time and it made a tremendous improvement in power and acceleration. Later I added flowmaster cat-back with little, if any, noticable gains.- JICI

Superchip vs Hypertech?? Hmmm...
Hypertech chip I have the hypertech chip in 2 of my vehicles (94 XLT and 92 Vette) and in both cases it made a big improvement in driveability and seat of the pants acceleration. Especially in the Explorer which couldn't get out of it's own way until I added the Chip & KKM induction...the...- JICI

KKM Air filter
I added the KKM filter set-up at the same time as a hypertech chip to my 94 xlt 4wd and it made a world of difference in pick-up and power. Worth every penny! It was a real dog before the mods. Much better now, plus I added a flowmaster cat-back exhaust; not too sure if the exhaust added much...- JICI

Chip
I have experience with Hypertech chips in 2 of my other vehicles: 92 Corvette 350/v-8 and 97 Suburban K2500 454/v-8 ( both with K&N filters and stock exhaust). In both cases I got very noticable improvements in acceleration and engine smoothness ... worth every dollar! I am so happy with them I...- JICI
