    EEC Power Relay on '86 Ranger

    More specs on 86 Ranger w/relay problem The vehicle is extended cab, 5 speed manual, 2.9 w/2 wheel drive. Maybe the real problem is having replaced the tranny, repainting (myself) and building a custom wood dash left nothing but the only part I can't find going bad. Ya think?

    Been fighting an odball relay problem for some time now and need a solution. The existing eec relay works great when cool but after warmup if you shut down or happen to kill the engine it goes dead for 5 minutes (zip, nadda, nuthin) or more. Once it has cooled it will function again. I found...
