265/65r18 is all I could fit on stock rims. If your offset is the same as stock I wouldn't go any wider because you'll rub the suspension. Get on a tire size comparison for you 20" rims and you should be able find a close tire.

Any luck figuring it out? I have the same issue and even brought it to the dealer after my regular shop couldn't isolate the problem. They of course want to replace the whole rear end and shaft.
