96 xlt lighting
auto lamps? (it's a friend's truck) not sure. those are ones that shut off after a few mins? now when I hook the battery up the parking lights and half the dash is on. the dash dimmer works fine too even with the key off and switch off- d.troglin

96 xlt lighting
ok... so I found a Curt Inc tail light cponverter that THE VEHICLE SIDE OF THE TAIL LIGHTS WAS MELTED SO I CUT IT OUT AND now the head lights work with the switch but now thw park lights wont shut off so maybe the other end of that wire is shorting out. but fuse #3 isn't blowing anymore.- d.troglin

96 xlt lighting probs I got a 96 explorer xlt that keeps blowing the #3 fuse after half of the dash lights went out and now the headlights stay on and no parking lights till I pull the maxi fuse under the hood to kill the heads. blinkers and brake lights still work just fine.... any...- d.troglin

the trailer wiring? even with the headlight maxi fuse under the hood pulled as soon as I connect the battery the #3 fuse blows.- d.troglin
