thanks for the reply, yes in fact the part connected to the rubber hose crumbled when i removed the screws holding the hose, but im going to modify the piece as 410fortune suggested thanks for the help i appreciate it- Oscarl

thanks a lot for your help, i found the repair manual and it has the part that you mentioned, but for some reason in my v8 it is connected to a Ruber hose and the ECM , but im reading other replies and seems like it was modified to be shorter again thanks a lot- Oscarl

HI everyone, i have a 1999 explorer v8 5.0l and have issues with coolant leaks right on the temperature sensor, the problem is with the part shown in the picture below im trying to find the part but i cant find the name for it, would anyone please help me to find out whats is called? the sensor...- Oscarl
