they are champion plugs btw, could it be the plugs? they were like 1.xx each. i tried to get OE plugs, but they were out of stock.- 94eddieB

ok, they were all on good. I took the front plug out and tried to see if it sparked when i cranked the motor and i didnt see anything (i only cranked it a couple times) i also put the old plug in the #6 (i think, the front driver side plug) and its still doing the same thing. i cant believe...- 94eddieB

Spark Plugs
so im swapping my plugs, theyve been in there for a while. I swapped my drivers side bank, not huge problems. I decide to crank my motor over to see if there are any problems. To my (not so ) surprise, there are. It idles harder than it usually does, and i get a CEL. I got the right boots going...- 94eddieB

I have an itch
to work on my explorer. Some things i want to do to it are: Get a little more power. At least enough to bark the tires from a standstill and not have to have my floot through the floor to keep up with SoCal freeway traffic. How much are a good pair of headers? reccomended brands? MPG Survey: This time, list all of the following options...
1994 eddie bauer 4.0 V6 4 sp auto i think stock gears tires are stock size (29" iirc) no mods it is 4wd i get 13mpg if im lucky and i try real hard, city driving, 12 if i drive normal (sort of a heavy foot)- 94eddieB

losing HP

ATF fluid moving to engine oil pan
thats not very good for the oil after a while, at first, its like a detergent, but after a while, the ATF will make the engine not happy i believe. no clue what could be causing it.- 94eddieB

Car Trouble
So ive been reading arouind the forum a bit, it it made me remember some problems i have. When i go into 4wd mode (little push buttom) i cant come back out. I push the button, and it makes a really loud 'whirring' sound, gets worse with speed. The only way ive found to get it back into 2wd...- 94eddieB

32" tire doesnt seem like a stretch. My stock tire is 29" tall, 1.5" around doesnt seem like a big clearance issue to me. Ill look underneath it tomorrow and see if i can do some guestimating.- 94eddieB

I also think i forgot to mention. My drivers window doesnt roll down. If i hit the button, it moves down only ~1/4 inch, then i hit it again, and nothing, then again and it moves 1/4 inch, then again and nothing, rinse and repeat till the window makes it down.
