    Just for clarification... So you're saying, I don't need to connect these wires into the aftermarket stereo? I didn't know that the stock stereo needed to know the vehicle's speed. Thanks a lot for your help in this matter.

    Hi y'all. Just bought a 2002 Ford Explorer XLT 4.6L V8 EFI. Engine is running great, just a few problems that I hope I can handle with the help of the forum: Mainly, there seems to be some grinding/scraping noise coming from the rear tires. I'm hoping it's the tires and not the rear axle.
