I like the lifted look, but my ST is a manly maroon color, and thought maybe the black would look ok with maroon than the standard chrome. I put smoked headlights and 3rd Brake Light (from Recon) on it so far. I plan on painting the grille black or buying a black one, as well as bigger tires...

Does the blacked-out taillight prevent a large amount of light from escaping? I would still like to stay state legal (since I am also a cop) but also have a cool blacked-out look. The body of the truck is burgundy ("Dark Cherry") so I am making all the trim and stuff black.

I been thinking about Plasti-dipping all the chrome on my truck, well, the spots that are... Grille and rims. Looking for blacked out taillights, headlights, and fogs, too. How was the process???

Is this the muffler you used in your Sport Trac? I was looking for a newer muffler to put on my 07 STLtd which would give me a slightly more aggressive sound than the stock.
