    Hood release cable broken - With Fix

    I tried to replace the striker bolt on my 1995 Explorer rear driver side door and the nut fell into the cavity. I tried poking around with a magnet with no luck. Is there a way to recover the nut?

    Hi, I am Albert Danraj and I own a 1995 Ford Explorer. I cannot open the hood. The cable is not broken but will not release the latch. I was wondering if there is another way I can release the latch. Thanks, Albert
