Front wheel locking in 4WD
Well I finally got ahold of a buddy who is a tech at Ford (we went through the same ASE cert program) and he concurred with you all about the Explorer 4wd system. Guess you learn something new everyday. I'm just going to go down and test to make sure it doesnt do it in 2wd still. Thanks guys...- I65Stang

Really, this system binds that bad? I've driven a number of Jeeps (Cherokees, GC, CJ-5s and 7s, Wranglers, etc) and F-350s in 4WD in snow conditions where you had to have 4WD on and never had a problem turning when going onto a dry part of the road. Hi all. I am working on my brother-in-laws '94 Explorer and have a problem with the autohubs.
