the same thing happened to myself and all I was told to do was to tap on the shift case motor lightly with a hammer. It solved the problem and everything still works good.- Rkan121

Very Strange Electrical Problem
I currently have the same problem except mine wont start on its own at all. I have to carry an extra battery and jumpers just to start. I suspect it is the alternator possible the battery or terminal/wiring. I just put a new starter and cleaned the termals.- Rkan121

great MPG to Bad MPG
the tranny job costs me $650 and yes they did replace the TC, also they noted to me that 3rd gear ( reverse) was very torn up. So i can imagine they did some gear work along with the clutches.- Rkan121

93 Electrical problem?
This problem just started the other day. When i would turn the air/ac/heat on any setting SOMETIMES it would completely shut my X off. My Cd player settings would all be changed as if i disconnected the battery? One time was moving slowly. Could anyone add some input.- Rkan121

Major Tranny Problems
I hate to say but after 121K my auto looks likes its gone, but its not totally blown out , it still moves around the driveway, instead leaks mass amounts of fluid. I was in some river mud tring to get my buddies blazer unstuck and i ended up getting it worse than him. it took a v8 bronco and zr2...- Rkan121

I got new picturES!
Why would one spend thats much money to upgrade a 2wd vehicle as if it was a 4wd. Or are you just tring to see how far back in thw woods you will actually make it?Better yet maybe you just like running stuff over such as curbs and what not. Personally i would have just took all the money you...- Rkan121

Important 4 wheeling Questions
1. How reliable is the electronic 4wd system used on Explorers in deep mud and water. 2. Is a lock in 4wd systems with hubs better, such as older 4x4s'. 3. On one occasion my 4x4 clicked out in a muddy field, could this quite possibly be bad? The reason I ask these questions is because...- Rkan121
