    Amp w/ New Deck - Background Static Noise

    I got a new Head Unit and it is being run through the factory amp. There is a lot of background static noise in between tracks (and during, its just harder to hear). Does anyone know what I can do? Thanks.

    Can I use the factory sub/amp in another car?

    I just got an XLT with the factory sub/amp. I am planning on upgrading soon, what I was wondering, is if the amp/sub can be used in my friend's car. He doesn't really want much, but it would be free, so thats the purpose of doing it.
