U HAUL AGAINST EXPLORERS!!!!
I allready did what you did and complained to u-haul and got the dame bullshit excuse from the company. it makes no sense and and is not justified in any way. I know for damned sure if I owned that company I would not cut off sales to the country's leading selling SUV for the last 8 to 10...- shadow

Truck wont start
you mentioned inyour last post that the pump is not running? and you also say that the fuse and relay are okay. Have you actually checked the fuel cutoff or (inertia) switch for power with a test light? with everything that has transpired this still sounds like a power problem meaning fuel...- shadow

Truck wont start
it is a possibility that the cats are stopped up completely and could stop the vehicle from starting, allthough I really don't think that is the case as I have never seen it happen meaning my personal experience. Yet it's possible. unbolt the exhaust before the cat and remove and try to...- shadow

Truck wont start
Brandons, does your fuel pump run for two seconds when you turn on the key? also, when you remove the filter can you blow thru the filter? if not then it's clogged. you can take the handle of a hammer and tap lightly on the fuel pump relay while you turn the key to the run position (...- shadow

Heated mirrors
IF YOU ARE PLANNING TO JUNK YARD A SET OF HEATED MIRRORS AND DO THE INSTALL, FIND OUT THE AMP OF THE FUSE FOR IT AND THE REAR DEFROSTER AS IT MAY BE A HIGHER AMPERAGE FUSE DUE TO THE ADDED LOAD OF ADDING MIRRORS TO THE CIRCUIT. I HAVE HEATED MIRRORS AND SEATS AND LOVE THEM IN THIS 5 DEGREE...- shadow

99.9% SURE IT'S NOT YOUR PUMP IF IT'S BEEN REPLACED TWICE. COULD BE A CLOGGED FILTER ( THAT YES, COULD HAVE BURNED OUT THE PUMP) 99.9% SURE IT IS THE RELAY !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! IF IT HAS NOT BEEN REPLACED, GO TO THE FORD DEALER AND GET ONE. DO NOT GET ONE FROM AUTO ZONE...- shadow

Temp Gauge Fluctuates Wildly
Your problem certainly sounds electrical. Check the connection of the plug to the actual sending unit, could be loose. I also agree with the others who feel it's more than likely the guage itself. Fords are notorious for guages going bad for no apparent reason. luckily, pretty simple...- shadow

'97 Limited - Cyclical Thump in Front End
this will sound far fetched, but have you taken off the wheel at the noise since you had it serviced last week? if not, do that and put it back on and tighten the lug nuts evenly. I have seen this happen more than once and it sounds just like the rotors are being gouged by a rock or...- shadow

Door Key Pad
open the rear liftgate and get a flashlight. remove the access panel on the inside wall (if i remember it's on the driver's side) you are looking for a little white sticker with 5 blue numbers on it about the size of a credit card or a tad bit larger. pull on the panel with one hand so...- shadow
