    Changing from 5 spd manual to automatic transmission?

    I am interested in installing an automatic transmission in my 92 Explorer Sport. My daughter will get her license this summer and I would feel more comfortable with her driving an automatic. Can anyone give me any advice?

    Transfer Case Motor Fix!

    I finally got the thing fixed! I was having the standard "push the 4x4 button, get the clicks and nothing else". I followed the advice from Dr. Bob...removing the transfer case motor, cleaning up the limit switch contacts and the armature, replacing the rubber around the limit switch...

    Auto 4x4 will not engage

    I have a 1992 Explorer Sport 4x4. When I push the 4x4 button I get the clicking noise but the auto hubs do not engage. What do I need to do and/or check?

    92 multiple intermittent hesitations/stumbles while accelerating

    I am experiencing numerous hesitations or stumbles during acceleration. There is no noise or noticable RPM change assoicated with the hesitations/stumbles. Anyone have any ideas?
