Will K&N intake void the stock 36,000 mile warranty?

My dealer has never said a thing about my Livernois intake. It really all depends on the dealer on how much flack you get.

Introducing the Livernois Motorsports Split Personality Tuner (SPT)

To answer your question. Yes, I'd be interested.

    Livernois Motorsports 2013 Explorer Sport

What is needed with the new tune? I'm guessing tstat at least and gapped plugs?

    Livernois Motorsports 2013 Explorer Sport

Were track temps the same? Also what mods do you have? 101mph is not bad for a basic performance DD tune IMO.

    Lowering the Explorer

The Explorer is already higher than the Flex to begin with so I wouldn't worry so much about the drop. I don't think the Flex springs looked "slammed" of course I'm coming from an STI on coils.

    PIAA Plasma Ion Yellow

I have had them for a few months now with no issues. It's a nice look with the drop in HIDs.

Explorer Down Pipes and Corsa Exhaust Exclusively from Livernois Motorsports

Will you be offering a reducer to mate up to the stock exhaust? At least in my experience they power gains are primarily in the downpipes. It would be a nice price point option.

Explorer Down Pipes and Corsa Exhaust Exclusively from Livernois Motorsports

Thanks for the clip. Can you attribute the gains to the downpipes or the catback? Can you just order the downpipes and mate it to the stock exhaust?

Explorer Down Pipes and Corsa Exhaust Exclusively from Livernois Motorsports

Looks good. Any way you can post some sound clips at some point? Not just from the outside but maybe inside also cruising around 70 mph on the highway.

Coolbulbs All-In-One 6kk HID's (heads and fogs) in my 2013 Explorer Sport Review

Looks pretty slick. I still need to call Andrew back on one of my bulbs not wanting to stay on. He's been really good at calling me back and making sure I've been taken care of. A+ for customer service at Coolbulbs IMO.

    1/4 Mile Run Times

I'm not arguing. I'm simply saying the lockdown of the device is a buzzkill. I'm sure you will do fine selling them.

    1/4 Mile Run Times

I wasn't referring to those runs. Those got posted late last night. In that same thread there is a link that shows what they did on a Tune, CAI and thermostat which is pretty spot on with the mods on the Lund tune.

    1/4 Mile Run Times

To a tuner sure but as a consumer it's far from it. I wasn't implying that it was your policy. However, YOU choose to tune with the device so therefore indirectly it is YOUR policy. That's the plan.

    1/4 Mile Run Times

LMS showed what their RACE tune did a few threads down.

    1/4 Mile Run Times

Lame. This AIW tuner is about as useful as **** on a bull.

    1/4 Mile Run Times

Crazy how a car around 1k lbs heavier than a SHO can pull almost the same times with just a tune. Nice times
  17. B

    1/4 Mile Run Times

Since you already have the tuner can't you still get it? Or is the tuner only good for one company? Which would be silly as all get out.
  18. B

    1/4 Mile Run Times

Good deal. I was just curious. I generally go to copper running more boost. Good to know.
  19. B

    1/4 Mile Run Times

Would you also recommend running a cooler plug? Say copper?
  20. B

    1/4 Mile Run Times

Great. I look forward to it. Do these flash devices let you store multiple maps? It would be nice to run the DD tune and when I go to the track flip to the track tune.

    1/4 Mile Run Times

Solid numbers. Do you have the A/F plot and boost graphs? Looks like around 3600 rpms things get scaled backed.

    1/4 Mile Run Times

What other features does this tuner offer? Can I do data logs of timing, boost and fuel? What about knock? Just curious because I'm big on data logging my cars for time to time when the weather changes to make sure all is o.k. Especially knock.
  23. B

    1/4 Mile Run Times

Well that's a given. However, you as a tuner should be ready for the debates that will happen in respects to dyno's and quarter mile times. As a possible customer I want a "safe" tune that "performs" better then your competitors. Not just a tune to make my driving experience "feel" better.

    1/4 Mile Run Times

Well I'm not exactly in line with the ecoboost tuners. I only know of 3 tuners You, Livernois and Unleashed. I'd place a bet that all three will be quality tunes. I'll take your word for it though. I've been flashing and tuning Subaru's and VW's for 10 years now. In the VW scene the...

    1/4 Mile Run Times

Oh it's not my intent either. The limitations with the car will be the same for all tuners. I've been flashing my turbo cars for going on 10 years now. In the end all tunes are pretty similar no matter where you get them. It pretty much comes down to service and updates and who can get them to...

    1/4 Mile Run Times

Right now the only dynos I've seen have been livernois tunes. While the area under the curve is great. You can see things are scaled way back up top. I was thinking either it's fuel or heat soak causing the timing to be pulled.

    1/4 Mile Run Times

Thanks for the update. I look forward to all of your test results.I hear you on heat. I generally don't even bother hitting the track up in the summer. However, I also don't take it for granted running in cool weather, that it will be that fast all the time. How are these cars on fuel? When...
