Will K&N intake void the stock 36,000 mile warranty?
My dealer has never said a thing about my Livernois intake. It really all depends on the dealer on how much flack you get.- BDP

Were track temps the same? Also what mods do you have? 101mph is not bad for a basic performance DD tune IMO.- BDP

Lowering the Explorer
The Explorer is already higher than the Flex to begin with so I wouldn't worry so much about the drop. I don't think the Flex springs looked "slammed" of course I'm coming from an STI on coils.- BDP

Will you be offering a reducer to mate up to the stock exhaust? At least in my experience they power gains are primarily in the downpipes. It would be a nice price point option.- BDP

Thanks for the clip. Can you attribute the gains to the downpipes or the catback? Can you just order the downpipes and mate it to the stock exhaust?- BDP

Coolbulbs All-In-One 6kk HID's (heads and fogs) in my 2013 Explorer Sport Review
Looks pretty slick. I still need to call Andrew back on one of my bulbs not wanting to stay on. He's been really good at calling me back and making sure I've been taken care of. A+ for customer service at Coolbulbs IMO.- BDP

I wasn't referring to those runs. Those got posted late last night. In that same thread there is a link that shows what they did on a Tune, CAI and thermostat which is pretty spot on with the mods on the Lund tune.- BDP

To a tuner sure but as a consumer it's far from it. I wasn't implying that it was your policy. However, YOU choose to tune with the device so therefore indirectly it is YOUR policy. That's the plan.- BDP

What other features does this tuner offer? Can I do data logs of timing, boost and fuel? What about knock? Just curious because I'm big on data logging my cars for time to time when the weather changes to make sure all is o.k. Especially knock.- BDP

Well that's a given. However, you as a tuner should be ready for the debates that will happen in respects to dyno's and quarter mile times. As a possible customer I want a "safe" tune that "performs" better then your competitors. Not just a tune to make my driving experience "feel" better.- BDP

Well I'm not exactly in line with the ecoboost tuners. I only know of 3 tuners You, Livernois and Unleashed. I'd place a bet that all three will be quality tunes. I'll take your word for it though. I've been flashing and tuning Subaru's and VW's for 10 years now. In the VW scene the...- BDP

Oh it's not my intent either. The limitations with the car will be the same for all tuners. I've been flashing my turbo cars for going on 10 years now. In the end all tunes are pretty similar no matter where you get them. It pretty much comes down to service and updates and who can get them to...- BDP

Right now the only dynos I've seen have been livernois tunes. While the area under the curve is great. You can see things are scaled way back up top. I was thinking either it's fuel or heat soak causing the timing to be pulled.- BDP

Thanks for the update. I look forward to all of your test results.I hear you on heat. I generally don't even bother hitting the track up in the summer. However, I also don't take it for granted running in cool weather, that it will be that fast all the time. How are these cars on fuel? When...- BDP
