Hello Ford fans! New to forum and need help already. (See my post on towing forum). Have 2002 XLT 4x4 w/ 67.000 mi. which has been good to me so far. Will put it to the test when I start trailer towing.:D
My 2002 Explorer 4x4 came with flat 4-wire trailer plug. Am buying boat trailer which has flat 5-wire plug (I'm told fifth wire is necessary to operate solenoid which locks out surge brakes on trailer in order to back up.) The fifth wire has to be wired to Explorer back up lights. How do I...
