8.8 Explorer Rear End Mods?
I'm interested in Explorers from 95-01, the rear axle on these is the Ford 8.8 with Disc Brakes. I know I can find an Explorer w/4.10 and a limited slip stock. Question: What mods are people making to this rear axle to 'wheel it besides ratio changes? The 8.8 is a C-clip design. Is anyone...- Gjeepy

Explorer 99-01 8.8 Axle 4.56 from Factory?
I am looking to get my hands on another late model 99+ Ford Explorer 8.8 axle. I ran across a chart that listed the Explorer Axle code 89 as being an open differential with a 4.56 ratio. Is this accurate, does anyone have experience with an Explorer coming from the factory w/4.56 gears?- Gjeepy
