2005 Limited, dead battery, locked doors?
Try spraying some liquid graphite into the lock cylinder on the door, and gently keep turning and working the key. If that doesn't work, or you feel like you're going to break the key, try a slimjim. I've never used one on one of these Explorers, though, so I don't know how easy the slimjim is...- ghettomedic

Welding lug nut stud
What kind of a mechanic is this? The axle nut is a 30mm deep well, not some fancy unobtainable specialty tool. Moreover, if the mechanic can't (or won't) remove the axle nut, it's probably not a person you should trust to be doing this type of repair to your vehicle. As it happens, I just...- ghettomedic
