wheel Scraping

bad gas mileage
i was at the muffler shop and the guy there there said if you have a bad cat you will notice a big differance in power loss, which i did not. so i find out the cats are not bad, talked to some other mechanics and there suggestions are vacum leak, or an air intake problem with that in mind anyone...- jim ashton

bad gas mileage!!!!
i replaced both 02 sensors, my mileage did not improve it seems to have made it worse. does anyone have any suggestions? i have 100k, and have a bad cat that i did not replace could that be the problem or is there another sensor that controls the gas and air flow.- jim ashton

oil filter
is there an easy way to remove the oil filter. other than having a quick change oil place do it. i have tried the filter wrenches but the oil filter is so high up you cant get a turn on it once you have tightened it around the filter.- jim ashton

lumbar support/ catalytic converter
cat thanks for your reply. when i bought the truck it had 37k, now i have over 100k, but the truck still looks like the i picked it up at the dealership.as for the lumbar support i have tried to remove seat cover to inspect the problem but it looks like i need lessons in sewing.- jim ashton

rear brakes
i have had a problem with the back left brake i've changed the rotor and pads, my problem is i have a rubbing sound almost like the rotor is warped but when i take it apart the only wear marks are on the inside of the rotor where the emergency brakes make contact. i don't know why it does it...- jim ashton

i want to know if there is a way to test or jump out the catalytic converter sensor. when i hook up to a diagnostic computer the reads cat. bad, but i want to make sure it's not a forty dollar sensor rather than a eight hundred dollar converter.- jim ashton
