What is this damn squeek? :(

Likely is your Idler Pulley. A cheap and easy fix. There are a number of good posts. I would suggest you do it sooner than later. Mine squeeked for about 10 min then nothing for 200 miles. Then without further warning, while I was driving the bearings seized, spun the retaining bolt off...

    Idler Pully W/o Flanges?

Has anyone had any issues with the replacement idler pulleys for a 1995 explorer 4.0 that come without flanges? Some posts have suggested replacing the bearings to reuse the original style pulley, but why do it if it is not a problem? Anyone know the correct torque for the bolt.

    Headlight Relay does not exist

Thanks for the continued support. You guys are posting faster than I can get to work on the car. I will try to get a look at it with a meter this weekend. I do not have the auto light out feature (LOM= Lights out module?). Is there a procedure to test the switch? If not I will apply...

    Headlight Relay does not exist

After hours of searching this forum, reviewing wiring diagrams, Chilton's, etc., I believe there is no headlight relay which is why there are so many threads and posts from people who can not find it. It appears to me that the system/switches/wiring harness all carry full amperage. Power...
