Vibrates a bit only in park or neutral
750 rpm at idle, very steady. If you give it a little gas in park, to 950 rpm, vibration goes away. Also, besides previous listed items changed, I also put in a new air filter and pcv valve.- tlee128

Vibrates a bit only in park or neutral
Any ideas? It's a 2003 Mountaineer AWD 4.6 with 140K miles. When in gear, no vibration at all. Things I've changed so far (was going to change anyway as part of high mileage maintenance): oem coils, platinum spark plugs, oem iac valve, oem mass air sensor, cleaned throttle body. Just wanted to give everyone an update on the hiccup/thud that I was getting stated on my first post. Turns out, after driving it for a couple of weeks, it's more like a big bang when I let go of gas pedal fast with car shifting from 2nd to 1st gear. The shop at first changed the torque...- tlee128

Shifter lever operation on rebuilt tranny
I am some what satisfy with my rebuild, although I only got the car back a couple of days ago. As far as sound level, torque converter included, pre & post are about the same; same noise level in neutral or drive when car is moving or at a stand still. Can someone check their shifter lever to see how it operates? Just got my 2003 Mountaineer back after having the transmission rebuild (o/d light came on at 135k miles).
