    I have a 1998 explorer every once in a while for no reason my door locks lock and unlock by them selves for about 5 to 10 minutes then they just stop. sounds like it is coming from the black box in the back by the jack. also I have over 360000 km only had to replace the alternator.

    I have had a lot of fords I am looking into buying a 91 to 94 explorer were there any major problems with them the 1 i was looking at the 4 litre had a slight tick in the motor i remember my ranger had that in the 2.9 litre what should i look for, in my price range they have around 200 to 275 km...
