Panoramic roof panel 2016 Sport
I'm currently on a trip 800 miles from home. I think I had a roof leak near the top center and some of the controls for our panoramic roof quit working. Unfortunately the sun roof about the front seat is stuck in the VENT position as I call it, just slightly open venting air from the back...- Bill McCall

Can you disable tire pressure monitoring system?
This past fall, I got my first failure on the right rear tire on my 2016 Explorer Sport. Contacted the dealer and I thought what they wanted to replace the sensor was excessive, $70 for the sensor, $200 to reprogram it. Probably more shop charges. Glad I didn't do it as in the next few...- Bill McCall

Cooling / Heated Seat not working 2016 Exp
This might be related, but we just experienced an odd problem. This vehicle has more computers and smart electronics that anything i've ever had before. Our Explorer has been pretty good so far. Recently I noticed I was getting warm while driving (This was July) I saw my heated seat on the...- Bill McCall

Very intermittent mirror issue 16 Sport
I'm going to schedule an appointment for Monday 12/2 at my local 4 dealer. It will be the 2nd time with this problem, but I'm not angry with the dealer as the issue is VERY intermittent. This is a 2016 Explorer Sport. The mirrors are of course electrically controlled and they automatically...- Bill McCall

2016 Sport back up cam question
I do have active park assist. (At least there is a button for it) I had the park assist on my 2013 escape and only used it two or three times.- Bill McCall

2016 Sport back up cam question
I traded my 2013 Escape for a 2016 Explorer. Just got back from a 2000 mile road trip. Love the vehicle. One weird thing. I must be missing something, but on my escape the guidelines on the camera moved to show you the projected path when you turn the steering wheel. On my Explorer the lines...- Bill McCall

Newest 2016 Sport owner
I was online before many of you were born and worked or pioneering forum place CompuServe. So, I'm a prolific forum user. I even moderate whatsthebesthottub.com! I've got 30,000 posts in cruisecritic.com so after upsizing to our first Explorer, I had to search for a forum. Here I am! Maybe...- Bill McCall
