    If you want I'll see if I have any of the black speaker cloth that covered the original grilles. It should black out the openings without distorting either light or sound.

    If you are talking about the '94 that you have listed then it should be ABS. They were molded in " similar shades " and then painted to match the needed color. Door panels after '95 are molded to color in a polypro material. As far as welding it goes.......I'd try to weld it from the back to get...
