Hi to all from Australia
Thanks for the welcomes. It turned out to be rear wheel bearings, especially the right one. The differentail was fine. At least the repairer was honest enough to admit he miss diagnosed it. Hi to all from Australia
This is my first post although I have been browsing for a good while. My 2002 XLT 4.6 is away today getting the rear differential repaired. It had a growl which has been diagnosed as carrier bearings so we will see hoe she comes back. It has only done 36000 Km's (22500 miles). It is pretty poor...- Aussie9
