dont mean to be an a** whole or anything but it really depends on the driver weather a dana 30 will hold up or not, a wheeling buddy of mine is running a 93 jeep wrangler with a dana 30 stock gearing all around 42 inch thornbirds a built small block chevy with a th400 and a dana 20 transfer case...- runoveryou

forgot to mention this, i am running my factory wheels and tires on this also bec the wrangler had the same bolt pattern and it only widened it bye about a half an inch- runoveryou

i did my conversion with no donor vehicle my 4 wheel drive isnt currently done i still needa custom drive shaft ect. but im using an 89 jeep wrangler solid axle with the stock leaf springs for now it is still lifted about 3 1/2 inches higher than stock but i got everything at a local u pick it...- runoveryou

Solved Lifts and Max tire sizes
6inch lift will clear 35x12.50 without rubbing the sheetmetal the inner plastic fenders will rub under compression while turning my brother's ranger with a 302 in it did,nt rub with 35x12.50 with 6in suspension but we put a 3 inch body lift on it a few weeks later- runoveryou

5spd tranny swap
i have a 91 explorer eb with an auto. the tranny is kinda ruff so i was wanting to put a 5 speed in it i have an 85 ford ranger 5speed with a 2.9 the engine is blown so the truck is useless to me i was wondering how hard it will be to put that tranny in my explorer, i know the bell housing bolts...- runoveryou

transmission level is perfect and i just did a tranny service on it and put 24oz of lucas stop slip in it- runoveryou

i have a 91 explorer eb it has 96k miles on it but it stays in 1st gear till it is warm unless i shift it manually and if i do that bef it is warm about 2-3 miles down the road it is fine in first and 2nd but in drive and od it slips until it is warm any suggestions would be great as this is my...- runoveryou
