Fuses for 4Auto and 4 low v6 OHV-97
Thanks for the link, need to start looking for damaged wires then, the 4WD worked after a start and stop of the car. Only works a small time before turning itself off. I hate digging in wires, such a annoying problem. Thanks N. W- Twenty

Fuses for 4Auto and 4 low v6 OHV-97
Hey again, hope you are all doing great this fine evening! Just after some pictures really. My 4WD won't engage after some off road 4WD driving, none of the lights come on, and it's making my radio go crazy /turn on and off. Suspecting some kind of fuse. Since I can hear a electrical clicking...- Twenty

Leak or condensation?
Well, there is no 'ice flakes' from the coolant liquid either. Not a bad idea. Will try that tomorrow. Might not be anything. But I tend to overreact when it comes to my cars. Just put some paste on a annoying heat shield that's making one hell of a shaking noise, so will have to wait until...- Twenty

Leak or condensation?
Hello again! So recently did a coolant swap (Red coolant recommended by the mechanic) on my explorer 4.0 v6 Efi ohv (?) Keep in mind, all parts on the car are the same parts from the day 1 factory. Been topping up with coolant the past few days and I have now filled as much as it says it...- Twenty

4x4A & 4c4low lights flashing
My update as promised! So patience did it. The problem stopped by itself. 4x4 low now works. And I THINK 4x4 auto works... Only issue is that my radio is having a slight flicker when I engage 4x4. And battery meter is shaking. I cleaned the interior and a cooler water(?) change instead...- Twenty

Front Wheel Bearings - How Much Runout? What's the Noise?
Well, tires. Not quite sure how to say this in english. But have your tires/ arms calibrated. make sure they are all facing foward propperly. Are you getting any movement in the steering wheel? Is it pulling to one side? What about when turning, is it making more of a noise depending on what way...- Twenty

4x4A & 4c4low lights flashing
Hey again everyone! As the title says. I figured I'd turn on the 4x4 Auto while driving home today....Shouldn't have done that. I put the car in neutral, switched to 4x4auto (The light came on), back to drive and went on my way, until.... The power to the car started wobbling ( The battery...- Twenty

Some questions (4x4,interior)
Bought it of my friend, his dad just had the car sitting in his garage gathering dust. Paid approx 2000usd for it. (Cheap in Sweden) Now I'm just doing minor fixes on it to restore it to factory looks. My goal is to have it look like new.- Twenty

Starter issues, and some links wanted.
Hey everyone, I feel horrible to ask this forum about yet another starter issue, but here goes. So my starter started to mess around again (I have not changed it yet). Did a search of the forum but didn't find the same diagnose as mine. My car starts 90% if I turn on the ignition wait...- Twenty

Thanks. Already have a spare transfer case in the garage sitting and waiting. Heard it's quite the common problem. Have a picture of the white container, but it will have to wait until I get home. Thanks again. Nick- Twenty

Some questions (4x4,interior)
Hey CDW, thanks. Is the A4WD for driving on pavement, or best suited to be left alone for the forests. We get allot of snow here, it's it suited for that. Or will it wear down too fast . Thanks, Nick- Twenty

How I cleaned my air conditioneer evaporator
Hey! What is that spray you are using? I don't know very much about the a/c. But is there any risk of breaking something? Letting the gas out or ruining some kind of internal pressure?- Twenty

Some questions (4x4,interior)
Morning everyone! What kind of 4x4 is it on the 97s Ford Explorer? The 4x4auto, is it full time or part time AWD? I have 2WD, 4x4 auto and 4x4 Low. Inside the left trunk wall I have some strange contraption. It's a white (empty) container hooked up to some cables with a on/off button. (With...- Twenty

Radio works when it wants to
Up to you what radio you want. Don't really know of any modern radios that will look natural /good in the car (unfortunately). But I wouldn't spend more than a 100$ on a new one, unless you plan on changing speakers etc. Again, up to you. If you want to go all in go ahead. I'm currently running...- Twenty
