SF Bay area run..
Sorry 'bout not replying sooner, I've not been getting the email notifications, AT&T screwing up my modem didn't help either..... Count me in for Sat 2 Dec... KVO, Thanks for answering the questions, my tires are currently Futura Adventurer. I posted a thread about them a while ago...- Tigger

SF Bay area run..
Saturday Dec 2 is OK by me, but I do have a couple of questions: 1. Where is Clear Creek? 2. What sort of terrain is it? Snowy? Muddy? dry? 3. Where is the Hollister McDonalds? 4. Would these tow hooks be standard on a '96 Explorer? If not then I don't have them... 5. What do you call...- Tigger

Ray, Thanks. Using the latest technology in personal schedule reminders, I have left myself a note to get in touch on my return (a post-it note stuck on my monitor)...- Tigger

Futura tires....
Ray, I would love to come out and play but unfortunately I've got packing to do as I'm going back to England on Sunday. I will be back on November 6 (minus the family) and will have the weekends free then to go out on trips. I only got the truck in June and haven't done much with it yet partly...- Tigger

Futura tires....
Dube, Thanks for the info. Over here in the East Bay we haven't even seen much rain yet, I'm not sure if I'll ever see any snow (unless I go back to England for xmas), and I haven't been offroad yet.... Looks like I'll need a new set then, before January....- Tigger

Futura tires....
My Explorer had the Futura Adventurer tires on it when I bought it. The tires look pretty new, although I had to replace one last week (got another Futura to match) 'cos it had a nail in it.. They are the standard size, I think they are 255/70R16. Does anyone know how these tires perform...- Tigger
