FASTWBOY, did you ever get a pedal? I have had to change my quick disconnect hose due to the fact that my rebuilt tranny was apparently older than my original tranny and had a different save cylinder. The reason I did all of this is because we developed a leak somewhere in the tranny and we were leaking fluid. After taking it to two shops to see if they could fix the leak with no luck, I neglected to keep an eye on the leak and ultimately the tranny blew while going up a steep hill. I did...- kroche

You should remove the exhaust. I just replaced the tranny on my 5 speed 94 sport in my driveway and the bell housing wouldn't clear the frame without at least dropping the exhaust to the point where you could maneuver it around.
