need to beef up suspension for load
I got a set of air lift helper bags on mine. The guy i bought the explorer from used it to tow a demo trailer and the springs were saggin like most do. It leveled it out great even when Im pulling my boat. If your leafs are still good, id get the air lift kit. Firestone also makes a kit but its...- TSteer02

Latteral shock for 97
I don't know what all you have done but on my explorer after I did a torsion twist my alignment was out and didnt get it fixed and that is part of the caus e of my vibration. Also when driving on tires that haven't been balanced in a while a crown developes in the center of the tread and can...- TSteer02

Another frontend squeak?
dude, you might be screwed because you did the body kift. They cant say crap about the torsion twist because it comes from the factory so you can adjust the front end. The shackles are also designed to functon with the vehicle, however the body lift PA 883 im guessing may hurt you. Good luck...- TSteer02

Lifting the rear end.
I have installed a set of Air Lift load air bags in the rear and they are great. Installed in about two hours for me. I only have one jack. If you don't do any hauling you don't need to get the compressor kit.- TSteer02

4 Runner vs. Explorer
Dunno bout ya'll but I love my explorer. My dad got is from his company for 2,000 (Basically gave it to us). It had 115,00 on it, and I have been beating it to hell for two years straight. Now with 147,00 it still gets me from "A" to "C" because I stop a "B" for the mudholes.- TSteer02

Just got a question for you... How hard on a 1-10 scale was your solid axle conversion? And did you do a SOA in the rear?- TSteer02

Best Lift kit for 95 4x4 v6?
The only lift company that I am aware of is Superlift. They make a 4inch lift with everything you need. But you will also need a longer drivershaft eventually. The lift itself is about 1,500.00 and a new shaft for about 200.00 The next alternative is a torsion twist on the front, and a pair...- TSteer02
